David White was one of the founders of the firm on January 1, 1981. Previously, he was a partner in one of the oldest and largest firms in Nashville. He has practiced over 40 years as a civil litigator.
A native of Tennessee, Mr. White attended Vanderbilt University on a football scholarship. After graduation, he was commissioned in the United States Army and served in the military intelligence with the 18th Airborne Corps. Subsequently, he attended Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he was both Articles Editor of the Law Review and a member of The Order of the Coif.
Mr. White is a member of the Nashville Bar Association. He served three years on the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association.
Mr. White is a member of the Christian Legal Society, and is an Elder at Christ Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee.
Mr. White has been married to Beverly White since 1960. They have two children and three grandchildren.
