Charlie Reasor joined the firm in 1999. He represents property developers, private investors, and lending institutions in real estate, commercial, and corporate transactions and in workouts.
His real estate practice involves the purchase, sale, development, and financing of real estate projects, leasing, and ground leasing. In his corporate law practice, he advises clients on the formation of limited liability companies, partnerships, and corporations and on corporate governance matters. His workouts and insolvency practice involves the purchase and sale of distressed assets, out-of-court restructurings, and creditor representation in foreclosures and asset recoveries.
Charlie is a graduate of Vanderbilt University’s College of Arts and Science (B.A., Latin American Studies, 1990), the London School of Economics and Political Science (Dipl., 1991), and Vanderbilt University School of Law (J.D., 1999). He is listed as a Super Lawyer in Mid-South Super Lawyers magazine, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America, is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been included in the Best of the Bar lists in the Nashville Business Journal (2014-2015). Before attending law school, he worked at King’s College, London and as a futures and foreign exchange broker.
Charlie is involved in a variety of professional organizations and community activities, and he enjoys grilling and stargazing with his wife and two sons.
