Charlie Reasor joined the firm in 1999 and serves as its secretary. He practices primarily in the areas of real estate, corporate law, and workouts and represents a variety of investors, developers, and lenders.
His real estate practice involves the purchase, sale, and financing of real estate projects, leasing and ground leasing, and forming condominium regimes and property owners’ associations. In his corporate law practice, he advises clients on the formation of limited liability companies, partnerships, and corporations and on corporate governance matters. His workouts and insolvency practice involves the purchase and sale of distressed assets, out-of-court restructurings, and creditor representation in foreclosures and bankruptcy.
Charlie is a graduate of Vanderbilt University’s College of Arts and Science (B.A., Latin American Studies, 1990), the London School of Economics and Political Science (Dipl., 1991), and Vanderbilt University School of Law (J.D., 1999). He is AV® rated in Martindale-Hubbell, has been recognized in the area of real estate in Mid-South Super Lawyers magazine, and is included in the 2015 and 2014 Best of the Bar lists in the Nashville Business Journal. Before attending law school, he worked at King’s College, London and as a futures and foreign exchange broker.
Charlie is involved in professional organizations and community activities, and he enjoys grilling and skywatching with his wife and two boys.
