Dudley West is a native of Franklin, Tennessee. He joined White & Reasor, PLC in 1993, where his practice focuses primarily upon business litigation, real estate and general commercial law.

Mr. West has broad experience in both transactional and litigation matters. He has negotiated and closed real estate acquisitions and dispositions throughout the Southeastern states. He has represented parties in litigation in a number of areas, including disputes involving real estate, business torts, breach of contract and non-competition claims.

Mr. West earned his undergraduate degree from the University of the South (B.A., magna cum laude, 1977) and his law degree from Vanderbilt University (J.D. 1980). He served as Law Clerk to Chief Justice William J. Harbison of the Tennessee Supreme Court from 1980 until 1981, and has practiced law in Nashville since that time. Mr. West is a former Chairman of the Litigation Section of the Tennessee Bar Association and a former member of the Hearing Committee of the Board of Professional Responsibility for the Tennessee Supreme Court. He is a Fellow of the Nashville and Tennessee Bar Associations and a member of the Florida Bar.

The father of two daughters, Mr. West has been active in a number of charitable organizations and endeavors, particularly those which advance the welfare of disabled individuals.
