Charley Reasor was one of the founders of the firm on January 1, 1981. Prior to that time, Mr. Reasor was a partner in one of the oldest and largest firms in Nashville. Mr. Reasor is the firm’s managing member, and his practice primarily involves commercial real estate transactions and commercial workouts.

Mr. Reasor has extensive experience in a wide variety of real estate related matters involving national, regional, and international clients, including acquisitions, dispositions, 1031 exchanges, leases, and re-structures. He was lead counsel in the multi-creditor workout involving a prominent regional real estate syndicator, and has since lectured extensively on the commercial work out techniques and strategies from both debtor and creditor standpoints.

Mr. Reasor is a native Kentuckian and earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky (B.S.C., with distinction, honors in economics, 1968). He graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1975. Mr. Reasor is a member of the Nashville (Chairman, 1991, Real Estate Law Section) and Tennessee Bar Associations. He is included in the Nashville Post’s 2003 list of the 100 Best Lawyers in Nashville, Business TN Magazine’s 2006 List of the 150 Best Lawyers in Tennessee, Mid-South Super Lawyers list since 2006. He is listed in the 2007 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Mr. Reasor is an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. He served as an officer in the United States Army from 1969 to 1972 after graduating from the United States Army Field Artillery Officer Candidate School. He has been active in a variety of civic, educational, and philanthropic activities.
